Powis Puds was born from family traditions and a lifelong love of baking.

Some of our happiest memories have been made in the kitchen. From Sunday dinners and summer BBQs to Christmas gatherings, baking has always brought our family together. Sharing recipes, creating delicious treats, and, of course, enjoying the taste tests became cherished moments that connected generations.

Today, those traditions continue and are proudly shared with our children, friends, and wider community.

For many years, friends and family encouraged us to turn our passion into a business, but we were happy simply baking for the people we loved. Over time, however, we realised that Powis Puds could become something even more meaningful.

Our eldest daughter inherited the same passion for baking and often shares homemade treats with friends and colleagues. Her dream of one day having her own bakery became one of the inspirations behind Powis Puds.

Our journey has also been shaped by our youngest daughter, who has Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Early on, we were told that she might struggle to keep pace with her peers, and specialist support and funding were limited. Thankfully, we found an incredible school that believed in her potential, nurtured her confidence, and provided the support she needed to thrive.

Wanting to show our gratitude, we began baking for the school's fairs and events, donating all proceeds back to the school. The support from the community was overwhelming, and we are honoured that they still invite us back each year to provide our treats and help raise funds.

Now that our daughter is in secondary school, we continue that tradition of giving back. We bake regularly for the school shop, with proceeds helping to support the school community that has given so much encouragement and care to our family.

Powis Puds is more than just a bakery. It is family, tradition, friendship, gratitude, and a belief in supporting others wherever we can. Every tray of brownies, every cake, and every sweet treat is made with the same love and care that first inspired us to bake all those years ago.

We hope that when you enjoy our treats, you taste not only the quality of the ingredients but also the passion, memories, and story behind every bite.
